The Anglican Missal is that produced in former years by the Frank Gavin Liturgical Foundation, which has sold to the Anglican Parishes Association the rights to its publication. It is not substantially different from the Frank Gavin editions, except for the fact that certain typographical errors have been corrected.

The Gavin edition of the The American Missal is in turn simply an American version of the missal produced in England by the Society of SS. Peter & Paul. Some adjustments were needed to adapt the version from England to use in the United States, but this was all done many years ago by the Gavin Liturgical Foundation.

The People's Anglican Missal is the familiar personal copy long enjoyed by churchmen, but with one significant change. Whereas the previous editions alluded to the 1549 and Gregorian Canons, but did not include them, these are now printed in place for the convenience of churchmen in those parishes where these Canons are used.

An absolute gem. It has a great teaching section on the Eucharist beginning on page 241 as well. In a perfect world, no Anglican would be without one. Fr. Bob Haux
